A 54 years old female come with swelling of left lower limb with severe pain for 8 to 10 days
Colour Doppler was done and showed DVT.
And CT scan shows significant chronic compression of the left common iliac vein against the lumbar vertebrae and overflying right common iliac artery (May - THURNER SYNDROME)
Patient taken to the cath lab and Infra renal IVF (Bard Denali) was placed
Popliteal vein access was taken and thrombus aspiration done and patient was systemic local throbolisation done over the 24 hours.
Check shoot revealed minimal thrombus was noted and stenosis in Proximal and mid part of iliac vein.
Immediately iliac vein was stented and flow was restored.
